Bourbon has burst into the gas shipping business in a $320m move aimed at helping it shelter from the offshore storm.
Jacques de Chateauvieux-led Bourbon is buying Greenship Gas, Evergas and JHW Engineering from Chateauvieux’s privately held Jaccar Holding, it announced today.
It comes in the days after de Chateauvieux knocked back rumours one of the world’s largest offshore support vessel owners would be taken private.
