Norway's OHT has confirmed a contract for up to four wind farm foundation installation vessels in China.
The Arne Blystad-backed company said a deal had been signed for one firm new 48,000-dwt semi-submersible unit at CMHI (Jiangsu), with three options attached.
The first ship will be delivered early in 2021. No price has been revealed.
The company has worked with Ulstein Design & Solutions, Liebherr and DNV GL on the Norwegian-flagged Alfa Lift ship.
