UK OSV operator Bibby Offshore has chartered a Solstad Offshore vessel under its new name of Rever Offshore.
The company was sold by the Bibby Line group to bondholder York Capital's Fara Holdco last year and combined with two other York companies, Norway's Rever and Cecon Contracting.
The Bibby name will be retired on 16 January.
Rever said: "The company will continue to offer the same high levels of service and commitment to safety; its approach remains agile and responsive.
