UK owner Bibby Offshore has extended its charter of a Volstad-owned dive support vessel (DSV) to the end of 2019.
The terms and conditions of the long-term deal for the 5,250-dwt Bibby Topaz (built 2007) have been adjusted to "reflect the current market environment and are now based on a more mutual sharing of risk and reward," the company said.
The agreement allows Bibby to maintain and grow the group’s market share in the North Sea DSV market, it added.
