Oslo-listed Bergen will work on Floatel’s 440-bed semi-submersibleunit Superior (built 2010) over a three-week period in the first quarter ofnext year, it announced today.
Norwegian oil company Statoil evacuated the unit last monthwhen an anchor punctured one of the ballast tanks leading to a four degreelist.
The vessel was stationed in the Njord field off Norway atthe time.
Floatel owns three of the accommodation vessels and hastwo more on order at Keppel FELS.
