Swiss offshore contractor Allseas Group said on Saturday it is suspending its involvement in Nord Stream 2, an underwater pipeline project to export Russian gas to central Europe that is opposed by the US.
Washington's sanctions on Nord Stream 2 entered into force on Friday, when US President Donald Trump signed them into law as part of a defence bill.
