Oslo-listed Aker Solutions has revealed a contract this week to deliver three subsea umbilicals for Mozambique’s first offshore field development.
No value has been released on the work, although analysts at Arctic Securities put it at between $12m and $24m.
The latest work is with Italian client Eni for its Coral South gas field. It includes a total of 19 kilometres (11 miles) of umbilicals to connect the floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) unit to the subsea production system (SPS).
