Oil and gas exploration company Aker BP has signed up a trio of platform supply vessels for three-year terms as it continues to work on cutting emissions from the ships.
Under a framework agreement, the joint venture between Kjell Inge Rokke's Aker group and the UK oil major has awarded deals to Solstad Offshore's 5,800-dwt Far Solitaire (built 2012) and Eidesvik Offshore's 6,200-dwt Viking Lady (built 2009).
