One of Eidesvik Offshore's platform supply vessels has been fixed to Aker BP on a 12-month contract in Norwegian waters.
The 6,200-dwt Viking Lady (built 2009) will begin work immediately on the contract, which Eidesvik said may be extended.
Neither the contract's value nor its extension options were disclosed.
“We are very pleased that Viking Lady becomes a part of Aker BP’s operative fleet, and look forward to further developing the cooperation under the frame agreement," Jan Fredrik Meling, chief executive of Eidesvik Offshore, said in a release.
