Aberdeen owner Ocean Response Management has acquired a modern anchor-handler sold on by India's Global Offshore Services (GOS).
The Mumbai-listed seller said the 65-bp Shergar (built 2009) was offloaded at a loss due to the "adverse conditions prevalent" in the industry.
The Equasis database shows the UK company as the buyer.
The vessel has been renamed Ocean Clever.
No price was revealed.
