Nova Algoma Shortsea Carriers has extended its expansion drive with the purchase of a ship from Wessels Reederei.
The joint venture between Nova Marine and Algoma Central has bought the 8,000-dwt WES Monica (built 2009).
The vessel has been renamed Sider Monica and has been snapped up just a few weeks after the company bought the 8,000-dwt Sirious Bulker (built 2007).
