Greek bulker owner Starmarine Management has made its first purchase in nearly four years.
The company has acquired the Imabari built 28.300-dwt Glory Marugame (built 2008) from Shoei Kisen, sources say.
The vessel has been sold for $7.8m, which is in line with expectations.
This will be by far the newest ship in the Starmarine fleet, which otherwise consists of two 16 year old bulkers.
