Samos Steamship, an avowed fan of Japanese-built tonnage, is ordering at least one additional tanker in the Far Eastern country as part of moves to renew and expand its fleet.
Managers of the Greek company confirmed it has placed an order for a 112,000-dwt aframax at Sumitomo Heavy Industries, which is to be completed in the second quarter of 2021.
