Navigare Capital Partners has extended its development across the shipping markets with a shift into suezmax tanker ownership.
The Danish investment firm has confirmed it is the buyer of the 156,000-dwt Shamrock (built 2011) from US-based leasing company Icon Capital.
The tanker is believed to be changing hands for $31m having already been on time charter to Navigare Capital.
Hanrik Ramskov, managing partner of Navigare Capital, said: “We are looking continuously at different segments to expand our portfolio."
