Turkish owner Marinsa Denizcilik is set to trim its fleet further. Some say the STX Offshore built 180,000-dwt bulker Densa Cobra (built 2011) already has been tied up at a low $27.5m. UK based online firm VesselsValue.com says the ship is worth $30.8m.
The market is described as nervous with values under pressure.
Director Asli Bilgin insists that Densa Cobra is not sold for now and remain in the Marinsa controlled fleet.
