Indian oil companies are continuing to buy cargoes of Russian Urals crude as Western shippers steer clear following the Ukraine invasion.
A tanker controlled by Russian state shipowner Sovcomflot is heading to India with Russian oil, according to sources cited by Reuters.
Gujarat refiner Nayara Energy — part-owned by Russian producer Rosneft — has bought 1.8m barrels of Urals oil, trading sources said.
