A platform supply vessel (PSV) sold by Havila Shipping is to have a second life as a yacht.
Brokers said the large 4,900-dwt Havila Crusader (built 2010) will be converted under new ownership.
Oslo-listed Havila said earlier in November the vessel had been sold, with VesselsValue listing the new owner as Alegranza Shipping Corp of Panama.
Many offshore support vessels (OSVs) have left the oil and gas business in an over-tonnaged North Sea market.
