Peter Anker, one of Oslo’s most prominent shipbrokers in recent times, is continuing to prosper three years after he stepped back from day-to-day business.
The former chief executive of RS Platou saw profit from his investment company Langebru race ahead to NOK34m ($8.3m) in 2020 up from NOK7m profit a year earlier.
The 63-year-old headed Platou from 1987 until it merged with Clarkson’s – the world’s biggest broker – seven years ago.
