DNV chief executive Remi Eriksen received $1.08m in compensation last year as the classification society increased revenue.
His total pay package consisted of NOK 7.4m in salary plus bonus, pension and other benefits.
DNV had revenue of NOK 35bn ($3.3bn) compared with NOK 31.6bn
