Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering Co (KSOE) says it has secured a series of gas carrier and MR tanker orders worth a total of KRW 566bn ($502m).
The Hyundai Heavy Industries Holdings unit, which controls shipyards within the group, did not disclose the identity of the companies behind the contracts.
But it said the contracts included two VLECs, a pair of VLGCs and two MR tankers as well as a single LPG newbuilding.
