Norwegian shipowner Island Offshore has set a world record for the strongest anchor pull ever.

The 21,754-hp anchor-handling tug supply unit Island Victory (built 2020) managed a continuous force of 440 tonnes against an anchor while working on Lundin Energy's Solveig field off Norway.
