A seafarer has died after a general cargoship hatch cover fell on him in Denmark.
The accident happened on Tuesday on the 4,100-dwt Solymar (built 1998) at the port of Velje, Swedish vessel operator AtoB@C Shipping said.
"We are sad to confirm that our experienced colleague and crew member passed away while working with hatch covers on the vessel," the company said.
