Floating regasification specialist Excelerate Energy and energy major ExxonMobil have teamed up to undertake a feasibility study into the siting of a possible first LNG import terminal in Albania.
Excelerate said it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with ExxonMobil LNG Market Development and Albania's Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy on 12 March on the study for a project in the Port of Vlora, in the south of the country.
