A merger between Lauritzen Kosan and BW Group's Epic Gas has closed.
The two companies announced on Thursday that the move to join the two companies' fleets together — creating an owner of 76 small LPG carriers — had been finalised.
"This combination amplifies the ability of the company to deliver energy and feedstock to communities around the world, providing customers with the scale and flexibility to meet their requirements, and allowing us to continue our work on ESG [environmental, social and governance] matters across a wider platform," BW Group chairman Andreas Sohmen-Pao said.
