Great Eastern Shipping is the latest owner to expand its bulker fleet in a surging sale-and-purchase market.
It said it is acquiring a secondhand supramax of 56,103 dwt, built in Japan in 2013, which will join its fleet in the second quarter.
The only ship in the world fleet matching this description is Japanese owner Aono Kaiun's Luminous Nova, assessed as being worth $14.6m
