Greek buyers have been among the most active buyers in a booming sale-and-purchase market for bulkers that is so volatile it has become difficult for even dedicated brokers to follow.
“I find it hard to keep track with what’s going on myself, to tell you the truth,” one Athens-based broker said commenting on the market activity.
A combination of high freight rates and loose capital sloshing around are creating a surfeit of willing buyers.
