Taiwan's Evergreen Marine has clinched a sale-and-leaseback finance deal worth up to $330m for two ultra-large containership newbuildings.
The shipowner had signalled its intention to offload two giant 24,000-teu vessels in December.
Now it has told the Taipei Exchange that it has struck a deal at a price between $140m and $165m per ship.
