The US is set to impose sanctions on those behind Myanmar's military takeover on 1 February, which could create issues for LNG production and shipping in the South East Asian country.
On Wednesday, US President Joe Biden signed an executive order paving the way for the blacklistings against the takeover's leaders, their family members and their business interests while freezing assets that benefit the country's government, the Wall Street Journal reported.
