Germany's MPC Container Ships (MPCC) has been using booming charter markets to lower the age of its boxship fleet while fixing a host of vessels at improved rates.
The Oslo-listed company said markets are enjoying the best fundamentals in a decade after recovering from pandemic demand destruction last year.
The shipowner has offloaded three vessels with an average age of 16 years, MPCC said in an update issued on Tuesday.
