Norway’s Hoegh LNG has firmed up a charter deal on one of its floating storage and regasification units for a long-planned import facility.
The deal would see the ship serve what is hoped to be India’s first FSRU-based LNG import terminal.
The company said it has signed all documentation with charterer H-Energy and chosen its 170,000-cbm FSRU Hoegh Giant (built 2017) to serve the agreement.
