The new US administration has said former president Donald Trump’s phase-one trade deal with China is “under review”.
Under the deal, China agreed to escalate purchases of American agricultural commodities and other goods in exchange for relief from US tariffs.
“Everything that the past administration has put in place is under review,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said at a briefing on Friday.
