Norway's Havyard Group has won a contract to develop an emissions-free hydrogen ship concept.
The shiprepairer and designer said an unnamed European player wants to use its expertise in the sector to come up with a design for a cargo vessel.
The partner was introduced to Havyard by state agency Invest in Norway, which has been working with the European investor for the past two years to support its entry into the Norwegian maritime industry.
