KSS Line makes first dual-fuel move with VLGC order at Hyundai Heavy

South Korea's KSS Line has returned to Hyundai Heavy Industries with an order for a VLGC newbuilding.

The Seoul-based shipowner has booked a 91,000-cbm gas carrier for delivery in the third quarter of 2022, an industry source familiar with KSS said.

He added that this is the first time the company has opted for a dual-fuel VLGC newbuilding, which will be able to use LPG or conventional bunkers as fuel.
