Higher newbuilding prices and market uncertainty may lead to a quieter start to 2021 for shipyards than the hectic order splurge seen in the final few months of last year.
Brokers said the containership sector could still deliver orders for shipbuilders in the first quarter, with projects for Evergreen Marine and Wan Hai Lines under discussion.
