The European Union on Wednesday charted a course for the greening and digitalisation of transport across the continent in an effort to help accelerate economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic.
The 82 initiatives that make up the action plan for the European Commission’s Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy are mainly aimed at reshaping land-based transport systems, but shipping and aviation are included.
