Golar LNG and Black & Veatch are coming together to explore a greener future for shipping.
The Tor Olav Troim-back LNG player said on Thursday that the companies — which work together on Golar's FLNG units — would be publishing a series of papers in the coming months discussing floating ammonia production, carbon capture, green LNG and hydrogen.
"Replacement of coal, fuel oil and diesel with cleaner burning LNG represents one of the easiest and most cost-effective near-term steps to decarbonize the worlds energy mix.
