Eleven joint industry projects have been awarded a total of SGD1.625m ($1.2m) in grants to help drive maritime innovation in the city state.
The awards were made under the Smart Port Challenge 2020 which is jointly organized by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and the National University of Singapore (NUS).
The industry projects where in the areas of maritime digitalisation and additive manufacturing – 3D printing – for ship and marine parts.
