The UK has halted direct shipping links with Denmark citing concerns over a new strain of coronavirus that has emerged in Danish mink farms.
Ferry companies are likely to be affected most by the new restrictions, which came into effect on Sunday morning.
Passenger flights between the two countries have also been banned, while non-UK citizens — including truck drivers — who have been through Denmark in the past two weeks will also be turned away from UK borders.
