Eastern Pacific Shipping has wasted no time in finding employment for a dual-fuel LPG carrier newbuilding that is under construction at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD).
The Idan Ofer-controlled company has fixed the 40,000-cbm gas carrier to French outfit Geogas Maritime after ordering the ship at the South Korean yard last month.
The charter contract is for five years, but the charter rate for the midsize gas carrier (MGC) has not been disclosed.
