International Maritime Organization secretary-general Kitack Lim said the IMO is open to look at carbon-based pricing for marine fuels.
Speaking at the Global Maritime Forum Wednesday “We are ready to handle market-based measures when the member states bring those to the IMO,” Lim said singling out previous panelists’ calls for a carbon levy and regulation.
