Liner operator Ocean Network Express (ONE) is seeking to deploy the largest ships in different trades to gain efficiency and ecological benefits.
The world’s sixth largest operator has chartered eight neo-panamax vessels of between 12,000 teu and 15,000 teu from two leading non-operating owners.
A potential order for 23,000-teu vessels is also believed to have been postponed until next year as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
