Norway's Rederiet Stenersen had increased its profit and revenue last year, according to a just-released annual report.

The chemical tanker owner increased revenue by 26% to NOK 706m ($78.4m) last year.

The Bergen-based company turned a profit of NOK 76m last year, reversing a loss of NOK 79m in 2018.

The improvements came after Stenersen took delivery in 2018 of the 17,500-dwt newbuildings Sten Tor and Sten Odin (both built 2018) from Taizhou Kouan Shipbuilding in China.
