First Ship Lease Trust (FSL Trust) said it has “amicably resolved” its claims against Torm over the alleged poor condition of two ships when they returned from their charter.
The Singapore-listed tanker owner had filed a claim against the Danish tanker giant for $1.89m in the UK courts nearly two years ago.
The Efstathios Topouzoglou-backed shipowner had claimed that Torm had returned the 109,000-dwt LR1 tankers Torm Marie and Torm Margrethe (both built 2006) in an “untradeable condition”.
