Shipping and logistics veteran Margareta Alestig is the new chairman of Swedish shortsea specialist Erik Thun.
She takes up the position with immediate effect. The Gothenburg-based company did not disclose who Alestig is replacing in the role and the reason for their departure.
Alestig, who sits on the board of Wallenius Wilhelmsen, is also deputy managing director of the Sixth Swedish National Pension Fund.
