An elderly chemical tanker arrested in Singapore in July looks to have secured a premium price to its current value at auction in Singapore.
Proceeds from the sale of the 19,600-dwt Sea Longitude (built 2003) amounted to $7.3m, according to a statement by the Singapore admiralty sheriff.
A classified advertisement in Singapore’s The Straits Times confirmed that the proceeds of the sale had been paid into the court.
