The rebound in the containership charter market continues at breakneck speed, as optimism grows for the long-term prospects for other major shipping markets.
It has taken rates for large boxships back to pre-Covid levels and led to a sharp pick up in rates for smaller post-panamax and traditional panamax sizes.
Larger containerships over 7,500 teu have "sold out", said analysts.
