An eight-year-old supramax trio built in Korea has found buyers at the relatively low price of $10m each.
Istanbul-based Derin Shipping has agreed to sell the 57,100-dwt sisterships DD Ege, DD Maramara and DD Karadeniz (all built 2012) at that level, market sources say. According to one Athens-based broker, the buyer of the STX Offshore-built trio is Greek. A US-based broker reports the sale as still being on subjects.
