Ship rating agency RightShip has restored the safety rating of the manager of a bulk carrier whose crew were convicted of the attempted murder of two stowaways.
Seven Chinese officers aboard the 61,000-dwt Top Grace (built 2016) were fined by a Durban court after they pleaded guilty to the charge of attempted murder in April this year.
RightShip does not name the manager involved but TradeWinds earlier reported the ship is operated by Hong Kong’s Fairweather Steamship.
