Five bulkers operated by Singapore-based Pacific Carriers Ltd (PCL) are being circulated for sale by their Japanese owners, according to brokers.
It is not clear if PCL’s charter commitments to the owners have been terminated early, or if the charter contracts have expired, resulting in the sales.
The vessels are aged between eight and 10 years old, which indicates that if the charters had not expired, then they were probably close to it.
