Six armed robbers tied up crew during a raid on a containership in Peru.
The incident took place at Callao anchorage on 4 May, it has emerged.
The IMB's piracy reporting centre said the men, armed with knives, took two crew hostage before breaking into a store room.
They escaped with unspecified stores.
The two seafarers later freed themselves and raised the alarm.
